My First Sewing Project (Age 5-8)

Aimed at children aged 5-8, this short class is a perfect introduction to hand sewing.
Children will learn basic hand sewing stitches such as the straight and whip stitch while sewing a stuffed felt dinosaur or butterfly with a hanging ribbon loop. These are then embellished with buttons, sequins and felt shapes.
Parents or helpers are welcome to stay or go for a browse or coffee in the garden centre.

Your tutor for this class will be Ana Dugdale. Ana is a City and Guilds qualified tutor with extensive sewing experience particularly in the field of patchwork and quilting.
