Bag Making Basics and Beyond
If you want to learn a range of techniques for bag making, then this is the course for you. During the class, we will construct a lined drawstring bag perfect for carrying around your current project and a small zippered accessory pouch.
You will learn how to line a bag and give it a square base plus add drawstring ties and how to insert a normal zip into a small pouch.
This course is suitable for people who can already use a sewing machine and want to take their skills further.
You will need three fat quarters of quilting weight cotton. Either bring your own or purchase from our extensive range before the class.
All other materials are supplied. You will also be using our Janome J3-18 sewing machines.
Your tutor for this class will be Ana Dugdale. Ana is a City and Guilds qualified tutor with extensive sewing experience particularly in the field of patchwork and quilting.
